With a graduate current account, you will not be charged fees for the following day to day banking transactions for two years:

  • Lodgements
  • Direct Debits and standing orders
  • Debit card transactions and cash back (For Debit Card, ATM & (Point of Sale) transactions and cashback there may be fees and charges for using your card (Visa Debit or Cirrus/Maestro card ) when abroad.  For full details see our brochure  “Schedule of Fees and Charges for Personal Customers” available in branch or online. 
  • Debit/credit transactions using 365 online or phone
  • Withdrawals at Bank of Ireland ATMs or in branches.

Fees and Charges

  1. To qualify for Graduate Banking you must be a proven Graduate of full-time third level education and have graduated in the last three years. Graduate Banking and associated benefits are valid for a period of 2 years from the date you avail of the Graduate current account. The Graduate current account and associated Graduate Banking products are subject to terms and conditions. Some additional fees and service charges may apply. For full details see our brochure 'Schedule of Fees and Charges for Personal Customers' available in any branch or online. Transaction free banking for 2 years includes Cirrus (ATM) withdrawals and Maestro (Laser) payments in Euro within the EU, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein. There is an additional charge for all other Cirrus/Maestro transactions. Charges for international payments apply to all accounts. For full details of all additional fees and service charges see the Bank's 'Schedule of Fees and Charges for Personal Customers' and "Schedule of International Transaction Charges". Government Duty applies to ATM and Laser Cards and to cheques.
  2. Lending criteria and terms and conditions apply to loans, credit cards and overdraft applications. Some additional charges may apply to overdrafts. After your 2 years Graduate Package has passed a fee of €25 will apply for any negotiation and annual renewal in respect of an overdraft facility fee.
  3. Terms and conditions apply to all savings accounts.
