Managing your Finances |
Before you contact us, please take the time to review how you manage your finances and draw up a budget. Have a look at our online budget planner which will help you work out your income and your day-to-day expenses and help identify any areas where you might need to make changes. It's best to work out your budget monthly, even if you are paid weekly, as that is often how most regular bills need to be paid.

Bank of Ireland - Mortgage Arrears Resolution Process

At Bank of Ireland, we have a five step process to help customers whose home mortgage is in arrears or is at risk of going into arrears. This is our Home Mortgage Arrears Resolution Process, part of our Guide to dealing with mortgage repayment difficulties.
This Guide is also available as a leaflet from any Bank of Ireland branch or by calling our dedicated Mortgage line on 01 611 3305.
As part of our Mortgage Arrears Process, under the Code of Conduct on Mortgage Arrears, we are obliged to have you complete a Standard Financial Statement (SFS) form. This form is designed to provide us with a comprehensive overview of your financial situation which will allow us to identify the best approach to helping you deal with your financial circumstances.
You can download the SFS here together with our Customer Guide to assist you in completing the form. These documents are also available from any Bank of Ireland Branch or by calling our Mortgage Arrears Support Unit on 076 6244444
