  • Accidental Damage- Your policy automatically includes Accidental Damage cover on buildings. You can also choose to include accidental damage on contents to protect you against accidents caused by mishaps such as a spillage on your carpet or an ornament being knocked off a shelf.

  • Unspecified All Risks- You can choose to cover Unspecified All Risks on personal possessions that are lost, damaged or stolen outside the home (subject to limits)

  • Policy Excess- Our minimum standard excess is just €250, which means you will pay the first €250 of a claim. You can also choose to select a higher excess in return for a discount on your premium.

  • Our home insurance product has options that allow you to tailor your insurance policy to suit your needs and your pocket.
  • You can get the benefit of premium discounts if you have a smoke alarm, are aged 45 or more, or have a house alarm (discounts up to 32.5% available).

You can also choose to select cover alterations in any combination of the following:

  • Accidental Damage cover on Contents

  • Unspecified All Risks cover

  • Increase your minimum standard Policy Excess from €250 to €500, €750 or €1,000

Bank of Ireland Insurance Services wants to give You the best possible service. If You have any complaint concerning Your insurance, You should contact Us immediately by writing to the Managing Director, Bank of Ireland Insurance Services Ltd., P.O. Box 382, Tuam Road, Galway or phoning Us on 1890 608 608. Alternatively, You may write to the Director, Broker Management Centre, RSA, RSA House, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dublin 16.

If You are still dissatisfied, You may write to The Financial Services Ombudsman at 3rd Floor, Lincoln House, Lincoln Place, Dublin 2. LoCall 1890 882090.
