We want to help you to thrive by enabling you to make better financial decisions for yourself and your loved ones.
    • What is the free online financial healthcheck?
      Our free online financial healthcheck is a confidential self-assessment tool that gives you an idea of your current level of financial wellbeing. To answer the 8 key questions should take about 2 minutes. When you’re done, you’ll get a financial wellbeing score and some targeted, financial wellbeing tips. We don’t keep a record of your score after you exit so only you will know the results.
      • What is a financial wellbeing needs review? And how do I book one?

        Whether you have something specific in mind or just want a quick chat about your finances, our free financial wellbeing needs review is designed to support you.

        Here’s what to expect:

        1. The financial wellbeing needs review will help you to work out your current financial needs and set your future goals.
        2. The financial wellbeing needs review will consider all areas of your finances with the aim of helping you to make informed financial decisions.
        3. The financial wellbeing needs review is completely free, confidential and non-judgemental.
        4. Our financial wellbeing advisors are professionally trained to support all types of customers and are experienced in dealing with a range of financial situations.
        5. Our financial wellbeing advisors will work to support you in reaching your financial goals considering things like your savings, investments, protection and planning for the future.

          We have a range of supports and a dedicated financial wellbeing needs review for our business customers. For more information please see here.
          • Do I have to be a Bank of Ireland customer to request a financial wellbeing needs review?
            No, our financial wellbeing service is available to everyone, though our business service is only available to those over 18 years of age. If you want to chat to one of our financial wellbeing advisors and find out how we can help you make the most of your money, you can click here to request an appointment right now.

            • Is there a charge for completing a financial wellbeing needs review?
              No, our financial wellbeing service is completely free.

              • How long does the financial wellbeing needs review take?
                A typical meeting usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes but our financial wellbeing advisors will make it work if your time is short.

                • Do I need to do anything in advance?
                  Our financial wellbeing advisors will work through everything with you on the day. However, we do recommend completing our online financial healthcheck in advance as this will help get you thinking about your finances in preparation for the meeting.
