- Visa debit card. One card is all you need to buy goods and services at home and abroad, for ATM withdrawals and to make online purchases.
- Top up your mobile phone.
- Set up standing orders and direct debits. You can set up and manage your standing orders and cancel SEPA direct debits on 365 online banking.
- Overdraft facility for extra cash. Lending terms and conditions apply. Customers must be over 18 to apply for this facility. There is an annual overdraft facility fee of €30.
- Mobile banking. Manage your money on the go.
Fees and Charges
1. Contactless Payments FREE
We continue to waive all domestic contactless transaction fees, until the 18th August 2014. A transaction fee of 15c will apply thereafter.
Contactless payments are now available on Visa debit cards with the contactless symbol on them,
Use contactless to buy items of up to €15 by simply holding your debit card against the reader. We’re also waiving fees for contactless transactions in euro within the EU, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway. Cross border handling charges apply to non-euro contactless transactions.
2. Automated Transactions 20c
Visa Debit card, ATM, direct debit, standing order and 365 phone/online transactions all cost 20c. A cross border handling charge may apply to Debit/ATM card transactions abroad.
3. Paper & Staff-assisted Transactions Now 40c
Paper lodgements and withdrawals (including cheques) and over the counter/staff assisted transactions using your ATM/Visa Debit card all cost 40c.
4. €5 quarterly maintenance fee
A €5 quarterly maintenance fee applies which enables us to continue offering you the best banking experience we can with our suite of quality and innovative services.
If you don't use your current account: If you haven't used your account, we won't charge you the maintenance fee until the fee quarter that starts in February 2014. That gives you time to review the use of your account. Simply contact your branch if you want to close or reactivate your account and we'll take you through what you need to do. Accounts that have not been reactivated may be automatically closed from 17th February 2014.
'No Transaction Fees' Offer: If you're keeping a minimum balance of €3,000 in your account for the full fee quarter, to qualify for our No Transaction Fees offer, you will still have to pay the €5 quarterly maintenance fee. Please note that we don't pay credit interest on your current account balance and you may be missing out on potential interest by maintaining a balance of €3,000 in your current account.
5. Personal Chequebook charge
Our chequebook issuing charge is 20c per cheque. This means that, for a chequebook of 25 cheques we will charge you a €5 issuing charge which will be debited from your account when we issue your chequebook.This charge is in addition to Government Stamp Duty and the applicable transaction fee for cheques. The charge does not apply to 2nd Level or Golden Years accounts.

The current variable standard overdraft interest rate (including the overdraft facility fee) is 16.2% APR, rate quoted is correct as at 25th August 2011 and is subject to change. The rate quoted is based on a representative example of €1,500 over a 12 month period. Total cost of credit is €208.85.
The current variable overdraft interest rate for the Graduate Current Account is 9.7% APR, rate quoted is correct as at 24th February 2010 and is subject to change. The rate quoted is based on a representative example of €1,500 over a 12 month period. Total cost of credit is €146.05.
