If you are aged sixty or over, you can apply at your branch for our Golden Years Current Account.
Terms and conditions apply to this account.
Whether approaching retirement or already retired, we can also advise you on your financial situation and the options available to you, including lump-sum investments, regular savings and pensions.

With this account, no quarterly current account transaction fees are payable for the following:

For Debit Card ATM & (Point of Sale) transactions and cashback, there may be fees and charges for using your card (Visa Debit or Cirrus/Maestro card) when abroad. The Golden Years account concessions also mean you don’t have to pay for the following service charges on your account:
- Overdraft facility charge
- Duplicate statements
- Cheque retrievals
- Domestic drafts – please note that Government Stamp Duty applies to bank drafts issued
- Unpaids inwards charges
- Replacement ATM/Debit cards

Summary of Golden Years Current Account Fees and Charges
In addition to free day-to-day banking transactions, the following services are free with a Golden Years Current Account, domestic drafts*, cheque retrievals, duplicate statements and charges for unpaids inwards. You are also exempt from the overdraft facility fee. Some additional charges may apply.
*With effect from 22 September 2010, Government Stamp Duty on cheques applies to all bank drafts and gift cheques issued.
