Excellent governance and transparent reporting is core to the delivery of our Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments.
We participate in a number of ESG ratings and benchmarks to track performance. The selection was based on an analysis of those ESG rating agencies that have a strong reputation for financial services industries based on market insight and are currently being used by our investors. As reporting standards develop and begin to be implemented across jurisdictions, we will continue to evolve our approach to ESG disclosures in line with regulatory guidance and market practice.
We were one of the founding signatories of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Banking (UNPRB) in 2019 and we participate in a range of regional and global industry efforts to promote increased harmonisation on data, taxonomies and disclosures.
