Key Features
- Minimum lodgement of €5,000, maximum lodgement €100,000
- The term of the account is 12 months (52 weeks)
- No withdrawals can be made during the term
- The interest rate is fixed. Annual Equivalent Rates (AER) are quoted based on a 365 day calendar year
- Interest is subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax at the prevailing rate
- Single lodgement only by direct debit from a Bank of Ireland personal current account that is registered for 365 phone or online
- Available as a sole account only
To be eligible you must
- Have a Bank of Ireland personal current account that is registered for 365 phone or online banking
- Have a minimum of €5,000 in your current account on the date that you apply for the account
- Be resident in the Republic of Ireland
- Be aged 18 years of age or older
More Information
- Apart from the initial direct debit you cannot make other payments to the account
- Your Direct Debit will take 8 working days to process
- The account will be registered to the same Branch as the BOI current account you use to fund your account, and will use the name and address details we hold for you at that branch
- At maturity the account will be closed and the money (including the interest we have added) transferred back to your BOI current account that was used to fund this savings account.
